My favourite part about this whole experience is the fact that at the end we give the portraits back to the centenarians. I find that such a meaningful and amazing part of this whole experience. That you’re not making it for an exhibition, even though it is wonderful to have in an exhibition, you’re giving it as a gift to someone who you’ve made a bond with, someone that you’ve developed such a great friendship with.
